Lylac began in 2013 with a gap Maheen felt in her own wardrobe — clean, modern design that didn't ask her to give up modesty.

Our Story
In her hands, every step.
Maheen didn't go to design school, and she didn't come from a textile family — she learned by doing, hours spent touching fabrics and understanding how a garment actually sits on a woman's body. That hands-on approach still shapes everything about how Lylac is designed today.
She chooses every roll of fabric herself before a design begins, and sits with our tailors through sampling and production — checking every seam, cut, and finish personally. Lylac has never been an assembly line: we work in small batches with a close-knit team of local master tailors and karigars.
